February 10th Concessions Meeting

Meeting for December cancled due to holidays.

I was unable to attend the January meeting.

Feb 10th.

-The Free Speech event was a success with an estimated 500-700 students in attendance.

- Verizon wants to solicit services and promotions in front of the MSCC complex. This is an issue because Verizon sponsors the Athletic Department, but the either the Athletic Department or another entity has to officially sponsor Verizon in order for them to have permission to set up on campus. No one has stepped forward to sponsor Verizon yet.

Concessions Committee Nov. 11th Meeting

Since Concessions Committee represents basically every entity of Texas A&M, we take a catch-all approach to addressing issues concerning the distribution of permits pertaining to selling or soliciting goods and services throughout campus not only on game-days, but on a daily basis in areas such as the MSCC complex and the Rec.

Expressive Activity- YTC Eggtoss, Older Gentlemen w/ a megaphone on game days, etc.

-We need to educate students on expressive activity that includes 1st ammendment rights.
